In 1983 the dance company Rosas, directed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, became widely known with a production that would make its name: Rosas danst Rosas. Its use of repetition and minimalism challenged the spectator to find emotional meaning in purely mechanical movement.

To mark International Dance Day, the Museo calls on all those interested in taking part, for 10 minutes, in the reinterpretation of one of the most emblematic pieces in the history of contemporary dance: Rosas danst Rosas.

Joined by the dancer Melania Olcina, all attendees will be the performers of this piece, and they are summoned in the Patio Nouvel at 13:30 h.

To all people who want to participate in dance please be punctual.

The choreography can be prepared with the help of the following videos: Movements, Structure and Vocabulary.
