El Corte Inglés, in alignment with its commitment to society, is affiliated with the Museo Reina Sofía via an agreement to sponsor the project El Museo sale a la calle (The Museo Outside), which spotlights a selection of pertinent works from the MNCARS Collection. Since June 2025 and throughout the restoration work being carried out on different sections of the Sabatini façades, passers-by in Plaza de Juan Goytisolo can contemplate three iconic pieces on a large scale: Maruja Mallo’s La Verbena (The Fair), La Tertulia (The Gathering), by Ángeles Santos, and Elena Asins’s Estructuras ópticas (Optical Structures). Furthermore, the façade that looks out over the Plaza del Emperador Carlos V will be adorned with a Juan Gris work, Retrato de Madame Josette Gris (Portrait of Madame Josette Gris).
