Freestanding version. With the authorization of the Soto Committee, Paris, an adaptation of the work Penetrable (1982) was installed in February 2025. It responds to the spatial characteristics of the terrace of the Nouvel building, as part of the exhibition A Different Order: Utopian Geometry and Kinetic Art on the Nouvel Terraces.

This freestanding version follows Soto’s aesthetic thinking: “The penetrable is not even a work; it is an idea of space that can be materialized in any situation and at any scale…”.

The work was originally produced for the exhibition Soto (Palacio Velázquez, 1982), and was also presented in the exhibition Lo[s] Cinético[s] (MNCARS, 2007)
