Biblioteca y Centro de Documentación del Museo Reina Sofía
The Museo Reina Sofía Library’s collection of audiovisual material is made up of over 2,500 records, including visual recordings (with or without a soundtrack) and sound recordings. The materials are in analogue and digital formats and are preserved in different supports: video tapes, DVDs, CDs, and vinyl.
Visual recordings comprise material from the Museo’s in-house productions, video art, documentaries and films from the Cinemateca de Cuba collection.
Of note among the sound recordings are the records accompanying Henri Chopin’s Revue OU (1964–1974) and the vinyl collection with album covers designed by Spanish artists such as Herminio Molero, Guillermo Pérez Villalta and Iván Zulueta.
