Haunting History

This video is a recording of the public presentation of the research project Amputated Identities: Ghosts in Salvadoran Art, developed by curator Patricio Majano across 2025 inside the framework of the research residency of the Cáder Institute of Central American Art (ICAC). Majano was accompanied by writer Elena Salamanca, artist Beatriz Cortez and artist and writer Olivier Marboeuf to jointly explore the political agency of art forms in relation to the spectral resonances in Central America, the Caribbean and their diasporas.
