The Main Site
Sabatini Building and Nouvel Building
The Museo’s main site has two access points, the Sabatini Building and Nouvel Building, both of which are the starting point of your visit and enable you to familiarise yourself with the different floors and exhibition rooms.
Open every day of the week, except Tuesdays. The usual opening times are from 10am to 9pm, and on Sundays until 2:30pm. Access is free every day two hours prior to closing.
You can still access the buildings 30 minutes before closing, although bear in mind that the rooms are vacated 15 minutes before the Museo closes its doors.
The access point through the Nouvel Building is covered and, therefore, provides shelter from the sun and rain. Please bear in mind that during free-admission times there may be a large confluence of visitors.
The entrance to the auditoriums and other spaces is established according to the type of activity to be held inside. Please check the programme here and, inside the Museo, on the supports set up for such consultations.
When applicable, the Museo will inform the public of the closure of certain rooms due to work being carried out (exhibition installations, maintenance, or any other requirements). These closures do not entail discounts or reimbursements of paid tickets.
Visits during free opening times are only for individuals.

We are currently re-arranging our Collection, which means some spaces may be closed.
The Museo has numerous rest areas located in the Cloister, in the Sabatini Building Garden and on the rooftop terraces of the Nouvel Building. Another option for a break is to order something at the NuBel Café-Restaurant and Arzábal Restaurant or head to the Museo’s shop or the La Central bookshop to buy a memento of your visit or one of the Museo’s publications.
